Homecoming is just around the corner, and the excitement starts now! Here are answers to some of our most frequently asked questions as we prepare for an unforgettable week of Lake Shore pride.
Homecoming is a celebration of school spirit, community, and tradition. For students, it’s a chance to make memories with friends. For alumni, it’s an opportunity to return to Saint Clair Shores and relive some of their favorite Lake Shore moments.
Lake Shore High School is excited to officially announce our Mardi Gras-themed Spirit Week for October 5–10! We’re sharing the schedule early so students have plenty of time to coordinate with friends, plan outfits, and get ready for a week full of fun.
No official cheer meter or attendance count is needed — if history repeats itself, it will feel like the entire community is dressed in red and white along the parade route celebrating together!
🎉 Our districtwide Spirit Week schedule for Lake Shore High School is included on the attached graphic. Additional schools may follow the same themes or create their own.
🏈 The Junior vs. Senior Powderpuff Game will take place on ? at 7 PM.
🚗 Join us for the Homecoming Parade on Friday, October 9th at 6 PM! The parade will begin at Kennedy Middle School, travel down Greater Mack, and conclude at Lake Shore High School. This year’s Grand Marshal is TBA.
🏈 Homecoming football kickoff against Marysville is set for Friday, October 9th at 7 PM. During halftime, members of the Homecoming Court will be introduced.
🕺💃 The LSHS Homecoming Dance will take place Saturday, October 10th from 7:00–10:00 PM inside the performance gymnasium. Tickets will be available at the door only for $15 each. Guest passes can be picked up in the main office.
